at armoury we usually give you a quote on your finished piece, however hourly rates are available upon ARRANGEMENT with your artist.

TATTOO DEPOSITS AND BOOKING CONDITIONS

Deposits:
  • Deposits may be up to 50% of the session estimate.
  • Deposits are NON-REFUNDBLE even with notice given.
  • Deposits are non-transferrable to another time/date within 48 hours (2 days) of the appointment. More than one re-scheduling will require a new deposit.
  • Deposits can not be transferred to other people, designs or vouchers.
  • Deposits will be forfeit if you fail to attend your appointment without having contacted the studio via email to reschedule in advance of 48 hours (a ‘No-Show). Any future tattoo bookings that we have in the diary for you will automatically be cancelled.
  • Cancellations/reschedules must be done via email (not instagram, facebook etc) [email protected]
  • Deposits will be forfeit If you arrive but the session is void due to: using numbing cream, your being excessively late, unable to provide ID or are not over the age of 18, bring a minor you are in care of,  have a medical contra-indication, are unwell, are under the influence, have changed your mind on the tattoo you want, or we can otherwise not tattoo you through no fault of our own.
  • We appreciate emergencies happen, but it is not then right for artists to be out of work due to clients emergencies. We cannot expect to fill our day the morning of. 48 hours notice is required in all cases and unforeseen circumstances. However any notice at all might at least allow the artist to stay home and is appreciated.
  • Deposits are ONLY refunded under the following circumstances:
  • Should you become unable to be tattooed or pierced either due to pregnancy or ill health confirmed by a doctor, and due notice was given, we will endeavour to return deposits for appointments occurring no longer than 6 months previous to your return request.
  • If we need to reschedule you for any reason (eg artist is unwell), and you are not happy to reschedule, we will refund your deposit within one week.


Booking terms
  • Bookings are valid for the design discussed. If you wish to change your design idea, you may be required to re-book with a new deposit. Arriving on the day and choosing to reduce the tattooing arranged will still require full payment of original estimate.
  • Once tattooing has commenced, the entire rate agreed upon for the session is due, even if you cannot complete the tattoo.
  • If you are more than 20 mins late for your appointment, the time missed will be charged at our hourly rate and will be in addition to the cost of your tattoo once you arrive. We reserve the right not to tattoo you if you arrive leaving insufficient time for us to complete the tattoo in which case deposits will be forfeit.
  • Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase only.

BEFORE YOUR TATTOO
Please be well, well rested, and have eaten. Do not be hungover .
Appropriate pain killers (should you wish to take them) are paracetemol and ibuprofen. Do Not use numbing cream or aspirin.
You may wish to purchase our recommended aftercare cream in advance : Bepanthen nappy cream, available form most pharmacies.
Please come alone. Should you wish to bring a support person please inform us at time of booking or as soon as possible and we will try to accommodate,
If you require a private room please inform us at time of booking or as soon as possible and we will try to accommodate,
Please wear clothing that will allow modest access to the relevant body part.
Ensure your booking is not immediately before activity inappropriate to healing - eg 3 weeks before sun & swimming, 3 days before work in the case of hand tattoos and wet work.
​You are welcome to bring your own headphones / book etc as a distraction.
